Hospitality and Tourism Management Program for Indian Governors

Faculty of Management and Tourism, Burapha University, lead by Asst. Prof. Dr. Sakchai Setarnawat, the Dean has collaborated with Thailand International Development Cooperation Agency, Ministry of Foreign Affairs to organize the Hospitality and Tourism Management Program for four tourism Governors of Northern India consists of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, and Sikkim,  in additional with an honorable occasion given by Assoc Prof. Dr. Somnuk Theerakulpisut, the President of Burapha University had being the preside to welcome all official guests from India. From this matter, the participants had attended to the program from 25 - 30 June, 2017 by visiting to the strategic location of tourism destination of Thailand to Nan Province for community based-tourism and cultures, Phitsanulok and Sukhothai Provinces for World Heritage Site, and Bangkok, including to the lecture and panel discussion from the experts in public and private partnerships. Delegates were enhanced understanding of tourism destination development and branding theory and practice, derived how to build solid business relationship and networks, and individual and organizational performance.
